Thes Cordura Beds are perfert for the outdoors. It can be hosed off as well as machine washed. The tuffness of the fabric makes it a good sturdy bed. Cordura 1000 Denier is a very tuff fabric. We have sewn two pieces back to back and put our thick 2 1/2" batting inside. We have topstitched the layers together to keep the batting stable. The Cordura Beds are water repellant. The fabric is actually coated to make it waterproof. However, because we topstitched it, the holes from the stitching will leak. But, the beds are very machine washable and cool dryable.
