You will notice that the body of our harnesses are somewhat shorter than most on the market. The reason for this is that are many short backed dogs and if the harness is too long going down the back, it tends to mess with the movement of the dog, and the ability of the male dogs to do their business without hitting the harness. The shortness also allows for freedom of movement. We do us a very strong commercial grade velcro so we don't worry about that coming loose. Note: Sizing does run a little small.
